The Lipid-Replenishing Balm and Cream are used daily to limit and prevent skin dryness and itching*. In addition, the Soothing Concentrate is applied locally to immediately relieve intense itching*. It’s the SOS product to keep with you! Whether choosing the balm or cream, adapt the texture to your skin type or the season: balm if your skin is very dry, cream when it is less so.
Soothe and relieve your skin quickly with an Avène Thermal Spring Water compress: spray the Thermal Water onto tissues and leave them on your face for 10 minutes. In case of itching, regularly apply either lipid-replenishing cream or balm, including on the eyelids if necessary. In case of irritation, use a protective repairing cream once or twice a day. And as a preventive measure, moisturise and protect your skin with a lipid-replenishing cream or balm at least once a day.
Simple but essential daily care limits skin dryness and restores the skin's barrier function. This way, the flare-ups become less frequent. Here is our advice:
Opt for gentle hygiene with a cleansing oil and lukewarm water between 32-34°C, and make sure their shower or bath does not exceed 10 minutes. Moisturise and protect the skin with a lipid-replenishing cream or balm at least once a day, even when the skin condition seems under control.
