8 months agoI have been using this little baby during my whole 9 months of pregnancy. When I found out I was pregnant my skin became very erratic and was breaking out severely. I could no longer use my preion medication as it wasn't safe for pregnancy. I was on the hunt for a alternative treatment. I'm no stranger to Avene. I have been using for many years. I already use the thermal spring water daily in my skincare routine and has never let me down. During a sale I picked this up in order to help my skin. Within days the redness had gone and breakouts were non existent. I have been using twice daily and it has been amazing. It's so gentle but yet effective. I'm due to give birth any day and I don't think I will go back to my preion medication as this has worked so well for me and definitely not as harsh and no side effects. 2 years agoAvene Comedomed has change my skin remarkably for the better. I no longer wake up in the morning to find another pimple on my face, especially from roseacea. Blackheads no longer form on my nose by the end of the day, same with open pores and oily T-zone. It's such a relief. I've tried so many other more expensive products but this does the job completely, My skincare routine now revolves around this product as I transfer over to a complete Avene routine. I wish it was available when I was a teenager. I would like to buy this in a larger quantity as I'll never be without it!

3 years agoAvene Cleanance Comedomed is easy to use. its texture feels nice on my skin - not too thick like a cream and not to gel-like. I like that it has Avene thermal spring water as one of the ingredients. overall, Cleanance Comedomed helped me reduced my pimple and blemishes, especially during certain time of the month. my skin didn't look shiny part way through the day. the only negative I had was that my skin feels a bit dry a night, so I ended up putting extra moisturizer on top of Cleanance Comedomed (which could be due to the harsh winter months?)

Yes, when starting a new acne-prone skincare routine (whether a medicine or dermo-cosmetic) can act as a trigger for a breakout. AVÈNE THERMAL SPRING WATER

I am 20 now, but have suffered with horrible acne since ages 14. my older brother also had horrible acne, and due to this saw many a doctor and dermatologist, got multiple medical creams etc; so due to this when it came to my acne my mother had already been through it all with my brother so i tried all the same "acne clearing products" you could imagine. Nothing, and i mean NOTHING was helping my skin. Due to large amounts of breakouts, especially on my cheeks, i was left (and still am to this day)with lots of acne scarring and enlarged pores. so trying to fight live acne+acne scars at once was a hard battle. Until one day when i was 17 my mum brought home the Avene Facial Cleanser in a starter kit which came with a small tube of the Clearance Condemed + another product i forget the name. This acne gel is the only thing i have found to fight acne efficiently. Its fast acting (i mean you can see the difference after one day), not harsh (i have sensistive skin), and buildable but not a lot of product is necessary. Yes, it does have a smell but its not horrendous (IMO) and definitely more tolerable than a lot of other scents (plus once its on your face it pretty much vanishes anyway). I swear by this product to treat acne, and i wish i had found it first go when i was 14. (to treat my acne scars i use Bio Oil, not Avene branded)
