It is important to know that a baby's skin is much more fragile than ours:
• The different layers of the skin are thinner, the barrier function is not yet optimal.
• The permeability of the skin is very high and, as a result, the baby often faces dryness issues.
• The pH of the skin is less acidic, which can make the skin prone to irritation.
• Melanin production is very low, making the skin very vulnerable to UV rays.

In the event of nappy-area redness, wash baby's bottom with a mild, physiological pH product such as XeraCalm A.D. Lipid-Replenishing Cleansing Oil, then dry thoroughly.
