The first step is to remove these small flakes of dead skin to avoid tearing them off with the tip of your teeth, so the trick is as follows:
- First apply a layer of the Cold Cream Nourishing Lip Balm
- Then use a fine granulated sugar and massage gently
- Remove the excess with a tissue soaked in Avène Thermal Spring Water
- Finish by reapplying the Cold Cream Nourishing Lip Balm
With this routine, you will quickly repair your lips, leaving them instantly soft.
You can certainly apply the Cold Cream Nourishing Lip Balm as a base before your lipstick. It will keep your lips comfortable and help your lipstick last longer.
The Cold Cream Nourishing Lip Balm can be applied in the evening and it is even recommended, as it willnourish the lips more intensely. In case of irritated lips, you could apply Cicalfate Lip Balm in the evening to optimise the repair of the lips during the night, and the Cold Cream Nourishing Lip Balm during the day, as it resists the common habit of licking one’s lips very well.

Keeps lips moisturised all day. My favourite lip balm I’ve tried!!!! Wish it was more accessible as I can’t find it in any of my local shops.
